• Social Dialogue and Trade Union Rights in the Digital Era

  Digitalisation - through platform work, AI and telework - profoundly reshapes work organisation and fragments collective interests, making traditional trade union representation harder while exposing workers to surveillance, algorithmic bias and regulatory gaps. Robust social dialogue, strengthened information/consultation rights, adaptable trade unions and EU level minimum standards (complementing collective bargaining) are essential to protect collective rights and ensure fair, democratic governance of digital work.
